- If you see a RUDE COMMENT or an OOC fight:
- Tell us immediately!
- If we've already posted to it...STAY OUT OF IT!! It will only make things worse.

Joining
- Post your character's stats on the joining board of the area you wish to join.
- Please put the CHARACTER'S name in the Name field. Not your name.
- You may add an out-of-character (OOC) name in your joining post.
- Please keep your OOC name the SAME all the time unless you ask us first. Thanks.
- If you wish to contact us, please use your OOC name. This keeps down the confusion if you have more than one character.
- We do not reserve or keep track of names here. Too many people.
- Do not make more than one character with the same name that YOU play.
- If someone else has a character that name, it is alright. However, please keep in mind that
it could become confusing if the characters with the same name are the same species.
- Please use an ORIGINAL name and not necessarily a movie name. Keeps things more interesting.
- Please do not model your character after something from the movies. Keep things original! Use your imagination.
- You may age your character/s as you wish. (If they are young, keep them young for a little bit! It's more fun and helps to create their personality.)
- Guidelines you must follow for your characters ages are:
- Horses
- Foals: Birth to one year
- Young adults: 1-3 years
- Adults: 3 years and older
- Unicorns
- Foals: Birth to one year
- Young adults: 1-3 years
- Adults: 3 years and older
- Wolves
- Pups: birth to one year
- Young adults: 1-2 years
- Adults: 2 years and older
- Humans
- Children: Birth to 13 years
- Young adults: 13-18 years
- Adults: 18 years and older
- You may join as many characters as you like, in as many places as you like.
- You MUST keep them ALL active.
- Tip: Start slow!!
- You don't have to join tons of characters right at the beginning.
- Start with just two or three, then build.
- Remember, if you can't keep up with them all, quit a few so you don't overdue yourself and lose your muse!
- Keep stats realistic for the realistic characters (Horses, wolves, humans).
- Tip for horses and unicorns:
- They are measured in hands. Hands are FOUR inches.
- Example 14.0, 14.1, 14.2, 14.3 then it goes to 15 hands high. If you don't understand, ASK!
- If someone invites you to their territory, you do NOT have to go with them.
- If you are force claimed, you MUST go with them until the allotted time.
- More on Force Claiming below!

Force Claiming
- Force Claiming is only done on the Joining Boards
- You may only force claim from the land you are from/live in.

- ALL foals/pups can be force claimed, no matter what the gender.
- NO male adults or male young adults can be force claimed.
- If you are force claimed then you MUST go with the one that claimed you. No if's, and's, or but's!
- You may challenge for your freedom after one week from the claiming post.
- Only ADULTS may challenge.
- Young adults can get another adult to challenge for their freedom or they can wait until they are adults.
- More information on Challenging in the Challenge section.

Challenging
- Only regular territories are challengeable.
- Places that are NOT challengeable:
- Main Territories
- Joining/Gathering places
- Gender Territories
- Meeting Places
- Magical Realms
- Please see the Territory Claiming section for more details on owning a Territory!!
- Only Adults may challenge. (See the aging guidelines in the Joining section.)
- Adult males can challenge for Territories and adult females.
- Adult females may challenge to leave a male's herd/pack or for foals/pups or young adults of any gender.
- Adult males and females may challenge for the freedom of one who was raided after one week from the time the raid ended.
- If YOU were raided:
- Only ADULTS may challenge.
- You must wait ONE full week (from the time the raid ended) before you can challenge.
- Young adults or foals/pups MUST get an adult to challenge for them.
- If you were force claimed:
- Only ADULTS may challenge
- You must wait ONE full week from the time the claim post was made before you can challenge.
- Young adults or foals/pups MUST get an adult to challenge for them.
- Challenges will be done by the roll of a die OR you may do an RP challenge.
- Please see the challenge board for more details on BOTH types of challenges.
- If you win a territory in a challenge, you do NOT win "ownership" of the herd. That must be done in a
separate challenge.
Note: You may put both challenges in the same post, but each challenge will be decided
separately.
- Please put the one you want to challenge for the most FIRST.
- If you are mildly or critically injured in the first part of the challenge, then the second challenge is voided.
- If you win a territory, you may change it's STATS (the part that says King/queen etc...) at the Stats Board.
- The Stats board can be found on Backstage WHI along with many other
convenient features.
- You MUST READ the heading of the Stats Board so you can put the information we need up PROPERLY.
- Failing to follow the rules of the Stats Board will result in ignoring/deletion of your post. So do it right!
Breeding/Foaling/Whelping
- There will be ABSOLUTELY NO graphic breeding or "long breeding on this site! Period!
- Your character MUST have been on the game for ONE FULL month before they can breed.
- You will need to provide the link to your joining post or your parents' breeding post to confirm the one month status.
- You must be an ADULT to breed!
- Humans must be an ADULT and MARRIED to have children! Or you can join as being pregnant already.
- Force breeding is allowed. Normally it is part of a plot.
- BOTH parties must to agree to it for it to be valid!
- BOTH characters MUST have been here one month to breed.
- More information about the breeding process is on the breeding boards.
Territory Claiming
- You MUST be an Adult to claim/own a territory!
- One character may NOT have more than ONE territory!
- If you have multiple characters, you may only own TWO territories per each section of the game
- Example: 2 in Angel's Paradise, 2 in Devil's point, etc....This keeps things fair for everybody.
- If you own a territory you MUST keep it active! Otherwise I will put it up for claiming.
- Adult males AND females may claim INACTIVE territories.
- RULES to tell if a territory is INACTIVE are as follows:
- It must be THREE weeks since the king last posted.
- You MUST post telling the king/right (second) hand/heir that they have ONE week to post, or you will claim their territory.
- The right/second hand or the heir's name MUST be stated on the stats list of the territory, otherwise they have no right to it.
- If nobody answers your post after that week is up, then you may post on the territory that you claim it. Then you MUST post on the challenge board so the challenge manager can check to make sure it's valid.
- If you are a FEMALE that has claimed an inactive territory.
- You MUST post on the challenge board to let the challenge manager know. They will put your name up on the challenge board as owner of the territory. They will also put (mare) beside the name because a stallion will not have to challenge for it.
- The female will have ONE WEEK before a male can claim the territory from her.
- A male CAN take over a territory that a female owns. As long as no other male has taken over.
- Rules for this are as follows:
- The male MUST make a claiming post to let the female know he is taking over.
- He MUST then post on the challenge board to let the challenge manager know.
- If the male posts a claiming post...and he does NOT post within a week of that post...the female who had it can take over again, unless he has posted an
absence from the game.
- If, however, the male DOES stay active but after a while goes inactive, then the female that used to be in charge (if she is still there) or anybody else can put in a claim on the territory following the guidelines above.

- Go to the territory you wish to raid from.
- Make sure the one you wish to raid actually LIVES there and is ACTIVE!
- Post RAID in the subject line of your post.
- Post this EXACT statement. "I, (your character's name here), raid (victim's name here) and hide them in (land you are from).
- "Land" means the place you joined/live at (not the exact territory you are from). For example, if you joined or now live in Angel's Paradise, that's what you put for the land.
- You MAY use a riddle/poem for the place you live.
- You MUST state YOUR character's name and your VICTIM's name CLEARLY in the post or it will be invalid.
- Post the hiding post the SAME DAY as follows:
- Post it in the LAND you are from!!
- You may NOT post it in the:
- Gender Territories

- You MUST use the SAME CHARACTER as the raid post. It can't be another character you play.
- You MUST state YOUR character's name and the VICTIM's name CLEARLY in the post.
- HOWEVER, you may "hide" your post by making the font color the same as the background color (highlighting the text will make it show).
- You may post it ANYWHERE on the boards EXCEPT near the bottom. If it's active, you will lose it.
- You may NOT post it on the archived pages.
- The post CAN be in a reply to someone's character. You can have your reply to it and then "hide" the raiding post above or below your actual message.
- Any Adult or Young Adult may "find" the victim!
- You have ONE FULL WEEK to find the victim from the time the raid was posted.
- If you find it, you MUST post under the hiding post that you "Caught" them OR
- You must also post under the RAIDING post where you found the hiding post so it can be checked.
- If you are not caught, and time is up for them:
- You MUST post in the territory you raided from that their time is up.
- You MUST state in your post EXACTLY where your hiding post is so it can be checked.
- The victim is yours for ONE FULL WEEK after the end of the raid.
- There are three different ways to get a victim of a raid back:
- You must wait ONE FULL WEEK after the raid ended before doing ANY of these.
- Someone, following the challenging guidelines, from the victim's territory can challenge the one who raided to get the victim back.
- The victim, following the challenging guidelines, may challenge the raider for their own freedom.
- Someone, following the raiding guidelines, may RAID the victim back.
- Remember, follow the guidelines for challenging if you wish to challenge!!!
Raiding: Animals
Raiding is basically stealing other
characters.
You may ONLY raid in the main and regular
territories.
You may NOT raid anybody from the joining
areas or gender territories.
Only females and/or juveniles may be
raided.
Only ADULTS and YOUNG adults, both male and female, may
raid.
Horses
can raid other horses, or juvenile unicorns.
Wolves
can raid other wolves, or juvenile horses.
Unicorns
can raid other unicorns, or horses.
You
can only raid one female/juvenile per character. However, you CAN form a
raiding party and steal up to the amount in your party.
-
Guidelines on how to post a
raid are as follows:
-
Make sure you choose
your victim by the rules above.
-
Go to the territory you wish to raid from.
-
Make sure the one you wish to raid LIVES in the territory and is active.
-
Post this exact statement, "I, (your character's name here),
raid (victim's name here), and hide them in (land you are from)."
"Land" means the place you joined/live at (not the exact territory you are
from). For example, if you joined in Angel's Paradise and live in one of the
territories there, then you put Angel's Paradise. If you live in a territory
in Devil's Point, you put Devil's Point, and so on and so forth. If you have
any questions, please ask on the Suggestions Board that is linked off of
Backstage WHI.
-
The raiding
post MUST state YOUR character's name, your VICTIM'S name, and the land you
are from CLEARLY in the post. Otherwise it will be considered invalid.
-
After you have posted the above message, you MUST then go find a place to hide
your victim.
-
The hiding post
must be done the SAME DAY by the SAME character you used to raid the victim.
You cannot have another of your characters hide them or have someone else's
character hide them.
-
You MUST
post the hiding post in the land you are from THE SAME DAY as the raiding post, saying, "I, (your
character's name), hide (name of victim) here."
-
The hiding post can be ANYWHERE on the main territory boards or the regular
territory boards ONLY. You can also "hide" your post by making it the same
font color as the background if you wish, but you don't have to. The post can
be put at the top of the board, middle, or NEAR the bottom of the board (do
NOT put it at the very bottom because if the place is active it has a tendency
to get pushed off the board, then it would be an invalid post). It can also be
put in a reply to someone's character (you can have your reply in part of the
message and underneath or above you can "hide" your post there).
Any ADULT or YOUNG adult in the territory
you raided from can find the victim.
They have ONE week to find the victim and post under your hiding post that
they caught you.
If they
catch you then the victim is returned to them.
If you are NOT caught, and the time is up for them to find your post, follow
these guidelines:
There are three ways to get a victim back if you didn't catch
the raider. With all of these you must wait a FULL
week (starting from the end of the raid) to do:
-
You may challenge the one who raided
the victim to gain their freedom.
-
The victim may challenge the one who
raided them to gain their own freedom.
-
You may raid the victim back.
However, if the victim is a JUVENILE (2 years and younger),
then they cannot challenge the raider. An ADULT has to do that for them. Or
they can wait until they grow up to challenge for it.
Raiding: Humans
Humans
can raid horses, wolves, unicorns, or other humans (“kidnapping”).
Humans
can raid or kidnap both males and females.
Both
men and women can raid and kidnap, but they have to be an adult to do so.
Humans
can raid only one animal (or human victim) per person… but you can form a
raiding party, as well.
Kidnapping
is done similar to the way that raiding is done with animals (see guidelines
above). Since all humans are in the same “land,” Sunstorm Haven, your
raiding post will say “I, (your character’s name), kidnap (name of
victim), and take him/her to (your specific cabin).” Then they post
anywhere in Sunstorm Haven, and if nobody from the cabin you kidnapped from
can find your post within one week, then you tell everybody where exactly
your post was, and the victim is yours. The only way to get them back is to
kidnap them back. If, however, the people from the victim cabin find your
post, then you will have to return the victim.
In
order to raid animals, a human posts at the victim territory and states the
desired victim (which can be male or female), and also has to mention in
their post that they’re a human, to avoid confusion. If the victim
doesn’t reply to your post within 36 hours, then you win the victim. Note:
36 hours means 36 hours. If the raid post was posted on 8:10 AM on the 3rd,
then the victim has to post before 8:10 PM on the 4th.
Note:
An animal victim cannot be raided by a human if the person that plays them
is on vacation, etc., where they will not be able to be online at all for a
specific number of days.
